An ethnographic approach
At Willemsen Consulting, we can, if you wish, conduct an ethnographic observation that analyzes not only visible behaviors but also the underlying cultural patterns shaping the dynamics of your company.
We adopt the approach of Bronislaw Malinowski, who believed that researchers should immerse themselves in the lives of those they study to understand how and why people react to stimuli in a certain way and to uncover the factors influencing their decisions and actions.
Although this ethnographic approach is more time-consuming, it enables us to uncover inefficiencies that traditional methods might overlook and to offer solutions that address the root causes of problems.

Choose your observation
We observe interactions, communication, active listening, roles and responsibilities, team dynamics, conflict management, solidarity, and collaboration among members. This includes identifying communication barriers between colleagues.
We observe the work environment, employee enthusiasm, passion, and factors that encourage or hinder motivation. Additionally, we evaluate the general atmosphere and the physical and mental well-being of employees.
We observe how employees actively listen to customers, their communication style, problem-solving approaches, and the level of customer satisfaction. We also evaluate the perception of products or services and the way clients are received.
We assess understanding of company objectives, employee engagement, and opportunities for growth. This includes evaluating the alignment of personal and professional interests, pride in work, and overall life-work balance.
